Free Video Editing Software

- This editor is completely free and easy to use.
- However, it does not have many advanced features and can be laggy or buggy at times.
ShotCut
- Another completely free video editing software tool.
- However, it has a confusing user interface that can take a while to get used to.
HitFilm
- This editor is packed with features for a free option.
- However, it has an advanced learning curve and a complex user interface.
VideoPad
- This editor has a lot of nice features and has all the tools a beginner would need to edit videos.
- However, its user interface is unique and takes time to get used to.
DaVinci Resolve [Recommended]
- This editor has cutting-edge video editing/grading software that has a free-to-use version.
- It is the best free editor on the market for professionals, but it can be intimidating for beginners.
